Th’owxiya
Th’owxiya: The Hungry Feast Dish, tells an important lesson to learn.
Th’owxiya: The Hungry Feast Dish tells the story of Th’owxiya, whose mouth holds the most delicious foods, but if you steal from her, she’ll eat you and your family. A young mouse has made that mistake, but with the help of two young bears, Raven, and Sasquatch, the creature takes a journey to earn her forgiveness.
Th’owxiya: The Hungry Feast Dish has shades of the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale and the First Nations story The Wild Woman of the Woods, incorporating mask work, puppetry & improvisation to expand the meaning and impact of the stories presented.
