Scháyilhen Industry Series

You’re invited to the

Scháyilhen Industry Series

In Partnership with SFU Woodward’s Cultural Programs

Be Part of the Talking Stick Festival 2018 ~ Western Canada’s Premier Indigenous Performing Arts Festival by attending Scháyilhen Industry Series!

Scháyilhen (pronounced S-ch-eye-yay-lh-un) means “Salmon Going Up River” – and speaks to the Traditional Values and Teachings of this communal journey we are taking.

This series is a 4 day forum (February 16 – 19) which invites arts presenters, artists, scholars, funders, and audience members together to further the development and strength of Indigenous arts.

Over four (4) days this series builds upon previous Industry Series Events to further imagine and develop the strengths and significance of Indigenous performing arts.

One pass for the Scháyilhen Talking Stick Industry Series is $150. This includes 4 days of all access to conversations, performances and hospitality. Individual sessions are at suggested drop-in fee of $15+ catering costs if applicable.

Due to limited space, we recommend advance registration.
