Reel Reservations Film Submission-Full Circle First Nations Performance

Reel Reservations Film Submission

Reel Reservations: Cinematic Indigenous Sovereignty Series was born with the intention of creating space for indigenous artists. Spaces both virtual and physical that will be a refuge and a canvas for Indigenous artists.

Artistic Policy

Reel Reservations considers film, video, audio, digital and interactive media works made by Indigenous creatives from all across Turtle Island. While a key creative involved in the project must be Indigenous, the content in the film itself can be anything.

Indigenous films works are created by individuals or groups of people who self-identify as Indigenous. Indigenous peoples worldwide may apply in Canada and could be identified as First Nations, Métis or Inuit. Applications from both status and non-status Indigenous peoples are accepted. Indigenous filmmakers from around the globe are invited to submit their film(s) for consideration.

Reel Reservations may consider at its discretion films that have no key Indigenous creative but have been created in association with Indigenous peoples or communities. References will be requested for films submitted under this category.
