Reel Causes – a Night of Short Films

Coming up on October 20th is the Downtown Eastside’s Heart of the City Festival. In association with this event, SFU is hosting Reel Causes – a night of short films, including the inspirational film, Regalia: Pride in Two Spirits.
In this film, our Administrative Assistant, Duane Grant, shares his personal story as a First Nations queer person, who identifies as Two Spirited. In this beautifully directed short, Duane talks about the importance of culture in his life, and his journey coming out to his family.
